Day 35: With more time in the mornings, we have ended up with a morning buffet of 5 different orders for breakfast. We even made a dinger so we can say “orders up!”. Who is ready to go back to the bowl of cereal, pile drive it in 5 minutes and then rush out the door??
One of the random quarantine foods that I found when supplies were low on everything else was a can of spaghetti O’s, G, had his first bowl of it, am I even a parent if this is his first bowl of spaghetti O’s??? We started forging a new trail, extending the old trail and it became a group effort with the quarantine crew. Hubby made the perfect thinking spot by the creek. And the kids had a bucket full of crawfish!Day 36: It was a Monday. G theatrical performance for how he felt about Monday home learning. And of course the inevitable Seesaw error.
. Thanks to a neighbor letting me have a key missing ingredient, I was able to make our homemade Cincinnati chili (one of two items I can cook), O, has found the perfect spot for his home learning in my lap or on my leg (my stage 4 clinger is at a stage 5)! During his speech, I left him for 3 minutes to help his brother get started on his reading and because the speech therapist wants me out of the lesson (in a good way, not mean way). I hear little feet crossing the floor and a tearful Owen. I am posting this so that when he is a teen I can remember the time when all he wanted was to sit in my lap! We learned more colors in Mandarin. Owen drew a picture of unhappy fish for earth day because their water turned orange and we took a walk down the new trail the neighborhood quarantine crew worked hard on and completed today!
