 Day 39: I can honestly say that without my friend connection with Marco Polo, this quarantine would not be nearly as tolerable. My mom group, village, friends have helped my need to feel connected and visually seeing your friends and their kids just makes my day. Thanks CV for hooking me up!!!! During our home learning, G showed us two adorable books. Check them out! They are so cute! We enjoyed a science experiment (fire snake) for our brain break: 40 grams of sugar, 10 grams of baking soda, sand in a bowl soaked in lighter fluid. We did find out that the sugar to baking soda has to be right and we had to add lighter fluid around and on top of the sugar pile before lighting it. (Disclaimer: please have adult supervision when trying this experiment). I had to pick up my asthma meds at the store yesterday and.... still empty paper shelves!
