 Day 44: These are the days! Yes, we eat anything for breakfast and apparently we do it like a five star restaurant. Home learning was semi questionable for one little man but we did do a lot better in our new space. Learned more Mandarin and watch some really cute videos on preserving. As I lay down tonight, I had that moment of feeling guilty, the mom guilt of wanting just 5 minutes by yourself. Sweet O has his days of independence (well moments) and then he has his days where he will find me, no matter where I am. Tonight as I was taking a shower I heard little feet running up the stairs and the door open. Owen pops his head in and asked very politely if I could sit on the couch and snuggle with him after I shower. When we sat down on the couch later he made a huge sigh and said, “now that’s better”. It is so hard to always be needed, then it’s so hard to not be needed. I will try to embrace his need for mama.
