Day 161: much much better day of remote learning. And no tears from anyone!

. No iPads for the morning so the boys took to the outside early in between learning. . We enjoyed watching Tiko explore his new house space! He loves it! And We got to enjoy delicious empanadas from the The Naked Empanada food truck that parked right in our neighborhood!!!! So awesome and soooo good!

Day 161 continued: We had ourselves a wonderful and magical adventure last evening! It was so good for the soul and we all felt that tiny bit of normalcy, minus the masks. I took 4 boys to see a play that one of our neighborhood friend was staring in. They were so great through the whole car ride there and back, during the play, while eating their ice cream and I was so proud of them showing support for one of their friends! G even had the courage to give her flowers at the end. It was magical. It was fun listening to them talk about the ride their, how much Cullen loves downtown Raleigh, and what kind of buildings they like. Ben and Jerry’s just happened to be in the same building as the play, so afterwards we treated ourselves to ice cream. Griffin was so excited that I was finally able to join in the ice cream eating bc they had a non dairy option! The play itself was amazing! The students you can tell worked so hard to put the production together and I am so grateful that the father reached out to us and asked us to support our friend. RS and CS thanks for trusting in me with your kiddos, I truly enjoyed the night out!
