Day 217: One wonderfully amazing part of remote learning is you get to hear about all your kiddos are learning about. We watched a book being read this morning and it was such an adorable book. If you have a young one, it is a must! My preschool family, put this on your list! Now, the one negative that is a positive and a negative with remote learning is a parent can over reach without meaning to over reach. I may have sat with my 4th grader as he worked on his science paper. The title, the main idea the basics was all GC however the finessing I will admit was me. This is my jam and I was so excited to collaborate with my son and we were both working back and forth with each other that I didn’t even think about the harm in it. He would give me his idea and the sentence and , not even thinking , I would help him structure the sentence. Griffin was so excited and proud to turn it in. Well, I may have gotten a note from the teacher expressing her concern on how advanced the vocabulary was.

. Thankfully she gave me grace and he is able to write it over. So, this mama will need to take a hard step back for the boys sake. Anyone else have a hard time letting go?! I need to listen to frozen a few times I think! So attached is Griffin’s story with added adjectives by mom for your enjoyment.
