As so many others, well, probably almost everyone else, has been navigating through the remote learning like we have, it has been the best of times and the most challenging of times with kids at home since March and in two very different grade levels. There are parts of this remote learning that I have enjoyed thoroughly. There are parts that I have to do the mommy calm down count to maintain some form of composure. And there are are always parts that have a day ending in a glass of wine. Give yourselves a virtual high five for just making it through this crazy time. I am trying to embrace the last moments until they take there first step back in to the classrooms. This too shall pass and we just have to keep on swimming! One brilliant benefit of the remote learning is two beach trip vacations in two months. Two of the best weeks we have had in a very long time. Two weeks with family and friends, the sand, the water, lots and lots of shell hunting and just kids being kids! Happy Friday on another remote learning day!!!! Now, off to build a lighthouse with my 4th grader!
